    Bullets were a little oversized…measured .4305-.431. But seem to be of excellent quality, and easy enough to run through the sizer.

    For those who know – the SAAMI spec for .44 rifle barrels is a .431” groove diameter, as opposed to .429 for pistol . These, at an honest .431”, are the ticket to keeping the 100 yard spray pattern under three inches.

    Just received a box of the Zero 44 caliber 240 grain JSP, and they look great. After reading some of the past reviews, I was a little concerned about comments of these being slightly oversized at .431″, but when I took several measurements of the ones I received, they are coming in at .4295″ to .430″. That’s perfect for me. The Hornady 44 caliber bullets come in at .430″ also and work great in my revolvers, Contenders and my 1984 Marlin. I expect these will also.
