I have 2 ar15’s. Both are very accurate with this bullet. Been reloading about 1000 of these & took my first whitetail with .223 this year. It was a really big 4 pointer chasing a doe. 100 yards through the woods. He dropped right where he stood. These have been my go-to bullets for 10 years. I’ve shot coyote out to 300 yrs with the 64 gr. P.P.
They are also excellent for self defense. Some people say .223 isn’t enough for whitetail deer. I disagree. I really like deer hunting with my AR15. I can wear it across my chest the entire time with my HIT Sling….it’s small & lightweight….user-friendly & is now proven to drop deer right where they stand. What more can you ask for?

My son shot his first buck with these last year. Didn’t move 1 inch, it dropped right where it was standing. I wish Winchester would start selling these again. These are really great bullets. C’mon Winchester….these are a legacy product….why haven’t they been available for 4 years? Get these into production again.

These projectiles are available again for the first time since Covid. Just purchased 2,200 of them. Now they come packaged in a fancy plastic box that is way bigger than it needs to be. Although I love these bullets, they are not match grade & don’t need the extra/fancy packaging. Winchester should go back to selling these in the cheap bag they used to come in & save the consumer a couple bucks per 100/pk. Before Covid these used to cost around $12/per/100. Now, every place I find them for sale online has them up around $19-$24/per/box….so almost twice as expensive than they were 4+ years ago. Maybe Bidenomics has something to do with it as well?
