    The height of the White River Large Rifle primers is toward the upper end of the Large Rifle specification. Conversely, the height of Winchester and CCI Large Rifle primers is closer to the lower end of the Large Rifle specification.

    Winchester and CCI LR primers seat below the base of the case, matching factory ammunition, whereas 10% of White River Primers protrude past the base of the case which makes them unusable. I have never experienced this kind of seating issues with Winchester or CCI primers. I will never buy White River LR primers again.

    Very consistent, single digit SD’s, what’s not to like? They do seem to fit primer pockets a bit tighter; but in no way has it been a problem. I dig ’em!

    I haven’t had time to test these in depth, but so far they seem fine (they have a few quirks such as being a tiny bit difficult to seat but I actually don’t mind the snugness). These days I’ve been lucky to find any large rifle primers at decent prices, so I’m glad these exist.

    Very happy with these primers. Was hesitant to use them as I had never heard of this brand. I’m happy to say they have all went boom when they should. Installation is spot on for size and depth. Powder Valley service has always been excellent!
