I tested these against Rem,CCi, &Win lr primers in a 5 shot string. Vel,ES,&SD were recorded on a Garmin chronograph. Vel matched Rem & CCI but ES was higher with the WR. I’ll run another set later. But for now pleased to have them available.

I got these primers from another source and did some testing against CCI 200 s with no measurable accuracy difference. Ignition was 100% even with an aftermarket trigger in an AR in 6.5 CM but they will not seat below flush in assorted brass and will only seat flush and will not flow in some priming tools. A little tall.

Ok this was my 1st time using these primers. I loaded up some 270 rounds , 6 with the white river and 6 with cci. The white rivers are very tight to seat and at times don’t seem to be seating in as far as the cci. I got a little tighter groups with cci than the white river but they weren’t bad.

Fantastic results on my 6.5 PRC loads with Retumbo and 147 ELDMs. Could not get more Large Rifle Fed GM210Ms so tried the White River Large Rifle Primers and got consistent ES of 11- 5 and 4.3 – 6.5 Std Dev. compared to sometimes double that on the Feds for that same optimal load I settled on prior with the Fed GM210Ms. Quality/consistency is definitely there!

I used some of these today in some 30-30 cartridges.
They work fine, and I’m glad to see another source for
Large rifle primers! They’re an American made product. -
I used these in some 30-30 Winchester brass and they worked fine. Thanks powder valley for offering these! I’m glad to see another source for large rifle primers.

I received the White River primers this week and fired some this morning. I compared them to a load I use in a 7mm-08 firing 130 grain Speer hot cores, Winchester primers, and a respectable dose of Big Game powder. The brass used were Winchester. The White River primers preformed perfectly, no issues. Just a side note, I emailed a question to the White River folks day before yesterday and received a response answering my questions in about sixteen hours. Now that’s special this day and time!

Decided to give these a try and I’m impressed. Loaded up some 6.5 CM with reloder 15.5. The ten round SD was 7.4 fps. Measured with a Garmin. You can’t get that kind of SD without excellent primers.

I have been using WRE primers for several months now. I have seen no difference in velocity or accuracy in my F class rifles to other common primers.
