    These primers have been flawless in performance, and I have no complaints at all on that end. The primer pockets on my brand new brass needed to be uniformed with firm pressure on the cutter head, and then seated with very firm pressure in the press so that they would seat deeply enough to be flush with the base of the case. I suspect they are a little “taller” than other brands, but this is the first time I have used small rifle primers, and also the first time I have run up against this issue in 30yrs of reloading. I usually uniform all primer pockets on new or new-to-me brass anyway, so there was no extra work involved. Overall, good product with minor technique alterations needed. As for Powder Valley, this was an easy and quick transaction, and I will use them again, for sure.

    I would like to give a review of the Ginex primers however I cannot, you see, I ordered Ginex small rifle primers but received a different brand of small pistol primers. This amused me because I needed small pistol primers but that’s not what I ordered. I decided to keep the small pistol primers because I didn’t want to pay hazmat and Shipping both ways and contact Powder Valley about it. The primers at the time were the same price and quantity so we decided to call it even. These things happen and it no big deal so I will remain a customer of Powder Valley and will order products from them.

    Have pressed in 300+ of these primers already and shot about half of them yesterday. All ignited properly and my chrony data showed good shot-to-shot consistency. I just hope supplies are consistent in the future.
