    Having tested the terminal performance of both the Xtreme Penetrator and Xtreme Defender Underwood ammo on feral hogs, in numerous calibers, I’m convinced they make the best all-around carry loads for personal protection. I generally carry the Xtreme Defenders in 9mm, .38 Special, .40 S&W and 10mm but in the .380 ACP I prefer the Xtreme Penetrator loads for reliable adequate penetration.
