    if you have a 35 whelen, this is a game changer. with my old powders i was getting between 2250fps and 2300fps with good accuracy. on my chrony. with 2000-mr im getting 2575fps with excellent accuracy. i havent taken it up to max load because i dont see the need to. its made the old whelen my favorite rifle

    2440 fps with 32 special 170g bullets, a full 100 fps increase will be testing in 38-55 and 35 rem. I would imagine very good with 30-30

    I recently rebarreled my .308 Win., and was looking for a suitable handload for it. The recipe that I settled on is a Speer 165 grain spitzer boattail, in once-fired Lapua cases, with Federal 210 primers, and 49.8 grains of Power Pro 2000 MR which yielded an average mv of 2851 fps, with 5 shot groups averaging less than an inch. That is almost 200 fps better than my previous best load, and that is not even the max. load listed for that bullet/powder combination. There were no pressure signs, the primers were still nicely rounded, and extraction was easy. Accuracy, high velocity, and clean burning; what’s not to like?
