Ordering on line has always been difficult for me because I don’t know computer tech very well. But, I have to admit, ordering on line with Powder Valley was actually really easy. I prefer to call to place orders but going forward, I’ll likely order on line again because it worked really well.
The Accurate #7 is my perfect 9mm powder. I am achieving 1389 fps average with 115 gr fmjrn bullets and I have loaded my brand new test cases 11 times with no signs of pressure problems. (still testing these cases) The pistol is a full size 1911 with five inch fully supported Barsto barrel and Caspian steel frame and slide. My first test was ten consecutive shots, from the magazine, (not one at a time) into about 5/8 inch at 15 yards from the bench with iron sights. Clean burning, wonderful accurate metering and low pressure with high velocity makes this my favorite powder for 9mm. I guess since it was designed for 9mm submachine gun ammo, I’m using it as it was designed.
