Love this powder. It’ll get a 55gn moving right at 3000 fps with only 20.4gn of powder. It does seem to be especially loud I’ve noticed. Only draw back I have noticed. It’s accurate as hell too.

As noted online you may or may not experience short-stroking in a semi-auto platform due to not enough gas being produced. Had issues with my AR15, but that is most likely due to the buffer weight. Works perfectly in a 16″ .308 AR-10 that I put together. Even the lowest charge of 38 gr’s cycled a 147 gr bullet at 2.382 fps without problems. Haven’t tried it in 45-70, but a buddy has noted it works really well for him in 7.62×39.
Vert fast burning powder. I’ll most likely be using this for “plinking” rounds to conserve powders like Varget/RL-15 for special occasions and heavy bullets in .223 and .308.
