    My only experience with 1680 has been in 7.62×39 and 300 Blk. The range of applications overlaps with Lil Gun, except smoke from 1680 does not have the unpleasant, pungent smell of Lil Gun. Performance and metering are comparable to other powders commonly used in these calibers. Was able to develop a good subsonic load in 7.62×39 using 12.4gr behind a 225gr coated lead bullet. Subsonic loads above 11.9gr cycled an AR in 7.62×39 with 16″ barrel, carbine length gas system. Also good with 26gr behind 123gr Prvi PSP bullet.
